The Iron Ore Train
Submitted by Amber on 2007-04-20 09:19:32 (via www.geoffstravelscrapbook.co.uk)
Riding in this train is a different experience. I doubt you can get it anywhere else. Nice Guys, Keeper Snakes, Bats and Golden Showers
Submitted by Laurentzi on 2007-04-20 09:16:33 (via www.rhymer.net)
'Make sure you have a hat on' said my guide as we entered the cave. I ignored him - why the hell would I want to wear a hat in a cave?.. Then I got the answer to my question. I could feel dozens of small drops of moisture on my face and head… I could feel dozens of small drops of moisture on my face and head. What could it be?   More...

Alligators, snakes, piranhas the all must beautiful animals of the planet seem to concentrate in this region of Bolivia. Anyway, so a nice travelogue resulted out of all this. Ambua: Wigging Out in the Highlands
Submitted by christine on 2007-04-18 10:39:13 (via www.xenophilia.net)
I have never heard of Huli people, but this travelogue impressed me so deeply that I am just so confused from where to begin. Everything, from the women’s menstruation cycle taboo, the compensation for wedding or for killing, the mix of cultures and other stuff is just so different! Truly unbelievable!!!

Dude Ranch Vacation Travelogue
Submitted by roxy on 2007-04-18 10:37:11 (via www.hiltonhead-usa.com)
There seems no boredom at the Waunita Quest Ranch. There are so many activities to do that there appears the overwhelming temptation to try them all. Good decision, but after having a vacation at this ranch make sure to have some extra days to rest at home before you go to work.

Arizona's Apache Trail - One of America's Premiere Scenic Drives
Submitted by lisa on 2007-04-18 10:34:46 (via www.amwest-travel.com)
President Theodore Roosevelt called the Apache Trail "one of the most spectacular best-worth-seeing sights of the world". And indeed the landscape is so dramatically picturesque that no matter where you focus your camera, you will get a postcard of the region.

The perfect vacation turned to be a fiasco? No worries, you will never forget it! If the purpose is to have an unforgettable vacation then you can undoubtfully say you got it done! Traveling to Curacao, a Dutch Island, to get to see a full eclipse of 3 minutes and 20 seconds and to find other people - eclipse groupies, who were truly into this sort of thing and to photograph them. Travel tip learned, do not order off the menu if there are no prices.   More...

The Darkness of Dachau
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-04-13 10:15:57 (via www.dickandwitta.com)
“Dachau left a strong impression on me: one that is more forceful, more intense than I expected; one that has gone deeper than I initially would have wished.” Reading about the horror, the famine and the cruelty a prisoner in such a camp endured, I’ve realized over again how blessed we are to have the freedom we enjoy today.
