The Gastronaut
Submitted by Adele on 2007-02-22 03:37:03 (via www.squarci.it)
This is a great article. I really liked it because it gave a very nice overview of a bunch of key cities: like San Francisco, Chicago, Minneapolis, Toronto, Madrid, Paris, etc… It’s so interesting to read somebody’s impressions! This in particular speaks of the general mood of the place and of the gastronomic variety of it.

The High Seas
Submitted by lisa on 2007-02-21 08:08:45 (via possum-pie.blogspot.com)
I can’t stop be amazed of the way some people feel about things they see in a trip, or the shots they make during the trip. This is definitely one of the articles in which the author’s perception of the nature and all its processes, as well as her feelings toward what is happening are perfectly correlated in a delightful article about New Zealand.   More...

Travels with Sandy
Submitted by roxy on 2007-02-21 07:59:58 (via www.tktravel.co.uk)
Sandy…such a beautiful name, especially for a motorhouse:), this was a real adventure through the New Zealand on Sandy!!! Letting aside jokes this is a great article about the impressions in the Kiwi country, which is indeed beautiful! It's not surprising that a lot of the Lord of the Rings was filmed here. Fantastic!   More...

Okarito
Submitted by pablo on 2007-02-21 07:55:29 (via treks.gnomedia.com)
"Okarito is a small costal settlement with 20 inhabitants, no shops, no bank, a hostel with one double room and three singles and a very basic campside". It’s a place of pure meditation there, and it can surely pretend to be the perfect place for the quiet and trekking lovers!

Come to My Wedding in Pakistan
Submitted by Laurentzi on 2007-02-21 06:28:59 (via buzz_777.tripod.com)
A travel to a «friend’s» wedding in a «luxury» buss on a hard, covered in goat hair back chair with the neighbor falling asleep on you. Local traffic is colorful. Did the boys at Bedford ever think this to be the fate of their trucks in Pakistan? When a truck falls off the side of the mountain the colorful decorations are salvaged first, of course.   More...

One Day in Swaziland
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-02-21 06:17:53 (via www.worldtravelstories.com)
Reading this will touch you in a different way. One day in Swaziland will make you quiet by the end and thinking that was too much. It simply puts life values in a different perspective and confirms that having a happy life is pretty much dependant on how you look at it. This is one thing I like about traveling around to different places.   More...

Kahna Tiger Reserve
Submitted by cleo on 2007-02-21 06:13:10 (via www.wildlifetravel.net)
An accurate description of what the jungle is like. In Kahna reserve you can see a tiger up-close being on top of an elephant – the tiger can’t see you, so he doesn’t get in the mood for prey;o) At the same time elephant’s driver can command it to uproot an obstructive tree on the way. How still captivating remains the nature!   More...

By reading this article, finally, I got clarified on which is Dracula’s Castle. This specifies on all the places in Romania that have to do with Vlad Dracula. If you’re curious to know, it’s really a nice place to visit. I recommend it.

Our Really Big Adventure
Submitted by bindero on 2007-02-20 09:08:10 (via www.ourreallybigadventure.com)
“With over a billion people, 200 languages and dialects, 25 states, innumerable religions, sects, tribes and cultures, India is a country united in its diversity. India has so much to offer, so much variety, such rich history, but there’s no denying that it can be a hard place to travel at times”. After reading this article I understood why…   More...

Auckland – New Zealand
Submitted by christine on 2007-02-20 08:50:06 (via treks.gnomedia.com)
There are so many things in our lives that we take for granted: drinking tea, taking shower or sleeping in the bed, to take just a few. But how would these things appear to us after a long-long trip in the NZ Mountains, exhausted and depressed? Here a very nice happy-end article about traveling in the New Zeeland:)
