Submitted by bindero on 2007-02-20 07:02:46 (via blogs.bootsnall.com)
Going to travel to South Asia? Be prepared to hear expressions like “You want trek?” “Where you going, sir?” “Namaste, good morning, how are you?” “Hash, sir?Marijuana?” “Taxi?” “Chitwan National Park, sir?” at every moment. But that’s not the most horrible experience in the world. Better focus on country sides, priceless!

Africa Travelogue: Tanzania!
Submitted by pablo on 2007-02-20 06:55:55 (via www.odeo.net)
“After sunset, the camp erupted with a plethora of animal sounds. The forest adjacent to the river had come alive. We listened intently as each roar came closer to us. Under other circumstances, I would have been happy that my tent, at the end of the row, was the one farthest from the main camping area”. Safari…deadly scaring…, but worth it!   More...

Yosemite Rocks
Submitted by Laurentzi on 2007-02-16 07:07:19 (via www.worldtravelstories.com)
This is a great hike up to “Half Dome”, through giant pine tree forests, enjoying a rocky landscape. But then on a 60 degree slope, you have to do the “steel cable” and that’s when the danger begins.   More...

The Land of Dracula
Submitted by bindero on 2007-02-16 06:46:21 (via www.travelblog.org)
Land of Dracula, it sounds so frightful and magic in the same time! But beside this surreal world, Romania, the origin country of the Count Dracula, is a nice state in the Eastern Europe, with a beautiful landscape and great architecture.   More...

Kangaroo Island
Submitted by Laurentzi on 2007-02-16 03:54:03 (via www.reisealbum.de)
Some of the most strange occurensies can be seen only in such places: for example, friendly cangoroo’s in the parking lot, or giant emu birds looking you straights into the eyes. This is quite an experience! No dobt! The most bizzare rock formations can be seen here, as well.   More...

Did you know Coca Cola now has become an important part in a ritual of burping out the evil? That is possible only in Mexico;) And when you enter the Mayan city dark labyrinth with a candle, you feel brave only until you see the ceiling covered in bats and spiders. Oh, and don’t forget to dart out the way to avoid the monkeys urinating on you.   More...

Fairytale Land!
Submitted by roxy on 2007-02-15 08:52:26 (via www.travbuddy.com)
“Neuschwanstein Castle is AMAZING! It was so glamorous and beautiful! Everywhere you look is color and light. Inside it is amazing rooms, a chapel, and even a cave! I loved every second inside of it. I can see why Disney chose this castle to base Sleeping Beauty's castle off it--it was absolutely spectacular!”. No more comments!   More...

Moldova

Moldova is not only excellent wines and good food! What makes Moldova, the Europe's most hidden country, the perfect travel destination in Eastern Europe, is its people. Chisinau, its capital, is a surprisingly clean city and has recently been renovated in the downtown area. One could even say it’s become posh. Pretty nice article!   More...
