Lost on a Trolley in Milan
Submitted by Amber on 2007-02-08 08:34:06 (via www.icdc.com)
This is a story about an American traveling to Milan and, instead of taking a taxi from the central train station to the hotel, he decided to go by trolley in order to see more of the city. Well, he was to discover soon that that wasn’t such a good choice... moreover, he didn’t have a ticket and didn’t know the language...oops!

CANADA Summer 2000
Submitted by pablo on 2007-02-08 08:25:47 (via www.thetravelzine.com)
You know why I like traveling to Canada? Because you can find pieces of different cultures situated very closely to each other. For example, the Jewish Cartier is situated near the German Street. This is the place where you can find Polish, Portuguese, Greek, Moroccan, Jamaican, Middle Eastern menus all around the town. AND THIS IS FAR NOT ALL…   More...

Homer, AK – Travelogue
Submitted by lisa on 2007-02-08 08:21:52 (via www.cross-country-trips.com)
What can be more romantic than having a dinner somewhere in Alaska at a camping fire with friends, eating the fish caught during the day? It’s wonderful, but for this you have to learn the right fishing technology. For this you may either observe the others or, if you are an interesting blond girl, may directly ask some genuine fishmen from around.

Denali National Park, Alaska - The Rooftop of North America
Submitted by roxy on 2007-02-08 08:16:55 (via www.amwest-travel.com)
Because Mt. McKinley makes its own weather, the chances of actually seeing it are quite slim. Anyway the vistas are outstanding. This makes the Denali National park to be one of the five must beautiful places in the West America and one of the most spectacular places in the world.   More...

Beggars in Paradise

If you happen to travel to Canada and have lived in a 3rd world country for a while, prepare to control your impulses. Some had to force themselves to stop stealing and hoarding toilet paper Mexican fashion:) Keeping a right balance in life is important in order to avoid painful extremes and traveling around helps one a lot in this regard.   More...

Daily and Weekly emails from West Africa
Submitted by bindero on 2007-02-02 08:41:55 (via www.stat.duke.edu)
After reading this article I felt like you have to take some courses of how to survive in West Africa as a tourist before you go there:). Fortunately this was a happy end trip, although it had a lot of stressful situations, not to say traumatic. But never mind, as it was indeed a very interesting and captivating experience.

Camel Trekking in Timbuktu
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-02-02 08:37:45 (via www.moxon.net)
People get fascinated about different things when traveling to a certain destination. This time the remarkable thing to fall for was the desert: the khaki sand dunes, the olive scrubland and the light blue sky, all in this camel rocking rhythm combined with the deadening effect of the sand sucking up all the sound around.   More...

Through the Portal of the Gods
Submitted by cleo on 2007-02-02 08:30:56 (via www.heldencrow.com)
Playa del Carmen means multicolored reefs, coral gardens, tunnels and caverns through the coral wall and back again. Read the experience of a healthy pinkish mango colored Irish man diving through Cenotes, the portals to another world. As well as his viewpoint upon American football. Quite funny!

Edinburg
Submitted by lisa on 2007-02-02 08:28:38 (via www.jaclynreding.com)
If historical and cultural beauties are what you value the most while travelling then this is an article for you. I was both impressed and fascinated by the beauty of the castels in Scotland. What is more astonishing is that every castle has its own fantastic story about endless love or ghosts that come to dinner every evening.   More...

Bad Boy Beer
Submitted by roxy on 2007-02-02 08:22:17 (via www.davewasthere.com)
A dangerous criminal wanted! Last times seen in Philipine, Dubai, Switzerland and UK. This is an article for those who want to lose 7 kilos in 7 days. However I agree with the author. This is not the most pleasant way. One more tip: if you are from UK and want to book a hotel in Geneva make sure it is in Switzerland and not in France.   More...
