| Ok, here’s an article that scared the crap out of me! I got some good stories of my own about airports/flights, but missing an airplane which is about to take off having my luggage loaded is waaay tragic. What a pity, everyone was very enthusiastic about the trip in the 1st place. Wanna see the moral of the story? Go for it – I adhere to it:).

| Christmas Day, cold London without public transport |

| Sure, London is an awesome place for spending Christmas. That’s what everybody hears. Now, picture this: London’s streets almost empty, no busses, no subway, nothing open – no shops, no restaurants – zilch. The only pub working was eager to serve 2 cups of coffee, a croissant and a sandwich cheese for a fortune. Happy Holidays!

| Great piece you should’t miss, even if you’re not going to Belgium soon. As the title suggests, it talks about things you MUST do in this country: taste the handmade chocolate and the waffles, visit the Grand’Place, meet the peeing boy, and get a piece of Belgian lace. Now you can say you’ve been there. But first, you MUST read this article.

| Cuzco, Peru - Spider! Spider! On the Bed! |
| Submitted by roxy on

| What’s the best way to start a day? I’m not sure having a huge spider on your bed is the right answer… but it happened, and the poor thing went through a short photo-session before being kicked out of the house. Great trip report about hiking, dining and having fun in Peru! Plus – see why it’s harsher and harsher to be a monolingual these days.

| Ukraine: Kiev |

| I had NO idea this eastern European city was founded by the Vikings. I’m talking about Kiev, or Kyiv, or Kijev, or Kiew, or Kijóv – you name it, the capital of Ukraine. I found this article very informative, taking the main attractions of the city and briefly describing them from a traveler’s perspective. And the pictures are great too!

| Traveling alone is way easier than taking your family (especially the children) with you and trying to get everyone satisfied. That’s why I was surprised to see it really is possible to make a trip with two kids, and truly enjoy it, not only survive it. But hey! Stunning sunsets, old villages, Caribbean-like beaches… Who could resist Croatia?:)

| “Kasbahs, Berber and nomads. These are only some catchwords which describe Morocco”. What happened to my old dream, getting to see the desert? Reading this article made me vivdly imagine the powerful sand dunes and the amazing green oases in North Africa, and it got me started: I’m already putting money aside for the trip of my life. I’m serious!:)

| Through skyscrapers and civilization, lies an exotic spot that got me rapt: Papua New Guinea is The Place for people looking for a spectacular time. The tribal paradise is not a myth, or that’s what this article’s trying to show to its readers. Ceremonial traditions, huts made from bush materials, in an impressive natural environment. Simply wow!

| There’s no secret: Ibiza is known as the best party spot on the glob. So here we are, a bunch of Californians go to Ibiza - from one beach to another- to party day and night (most clubs open at 2 a.m., and last till next morning). It’s a fun place to visit for party people, and an interesting one to read about for the rest of us :)
