| Florence is quite a compact city, and it is actually quite easy to walk around the whole city. Just watch out for the local emergency services that seem to buzz around the city quite frequently. Or at least, they make their presence known quite loudly. Oh, Italians, they know how to make themselves noticed…:)

| Traveling through Italy by train… just fast enough to see many cities in a relatively short period of time and slow enough to make an impression of those cities. This way, you can be proud that you may make a difference between 2 different cities like a real expert. After accessing the link, go to "the route" in the left side of the page.

| Although an enough rough road, the destination was rewarding: spiced and cozy, freshly rolled in cinnamon sugar and simply delicious. Then, followed by a private tour around the winery that produces 2,5 million bottles a year. That is Sicily.

| Going to Italy and eating at MacDonald’s? Wired, but there is nothing wrong with the people’s different tastes. Instead, it’s so exciting picking up a city on the map and just go there with the gang, without knowing a think about it. Most exciting is if the city turns to be really cool; if not, a good pub will make things looking better. Isn’t it?

| Get the reality of Rome: the noise, the graffiti, the ever-present traffic, and the never-ending barriers of parked vehicles… but still, the historic sights -- ruins and excavations, including the Coliseum (wonderfully lit at night) and Forum were awesome.

| Like all destinations, Rome too leads a double existence: one in reality, another in the imagination, battling, sustaining and nourishing each other. Read about the contrasts of visitors’ impressions: one coming on a three-week vacation, another coming to earn money to feed his family by selling squeeze balls…

| This is a story about an American traveling to Milan and, instead of taking a taxi from the central train station to the hotel, he decided to go by trolley in order to see more of the city. Well, he was to discover soon that that wasn’t such a good choice... moreover, he didn’t have a ticket and didn’t know the language...oops!

| Genova – one of the most beautiful Italian cities, also known for its very delicious food. You know what idea came to me when reading this article? That I would like to stay somewhere in Genova, admiring the Alps, listening to the Italian music, eat Italian food and delight myself with a glass of great wine. Not bad tastes, no?
