Slovenia is a tiny country, only half the size of Switzerland, often known as "Europe in Miniature" due to its magnificent and varied scenery. Slovenia is visited for its diverse and beautiful scenery from mountains that are home to world class ski resorts to the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean.
Ljubljana one of the most ancient cities is wealthy in friendly people and clean environment. Much has changed in time but its' historical heritage still predominates: the bright red Franciscan church, the Stolnica or Cathedral, the Ljubljanski Grad (Castle) and Tivolski Grad and Tivoli Park and a lot more...
Slovenia is a cultural crossroads where East Europe meets the West. This makes it perfect for meeting old friends, tasting delicious meals, admiring stunning sceneries and enjoying New Year's Eve. Even if many countries are said to be like this, after reading this article I am inclined to agree Slovenia is special. Still doubt it? Get convinced!
