Hurghada, Egypt
Submitted by christine on 2007-02-22 07:49:02 (via www.utata.org)
No more than a fishing village fifteen years ago, Hurghada is now a city of forty thousand, whose big bang growth is attributable to just one thing: tourism. Beth’s Trip to Egypt
Submitted by bindero on 2006-11-16 02:53:52 (via www.zuckershack.org)

Travel to the White Desert of Egypt, (Cheap)
Submitted by theplanetd on 2009-06-21 18:49:38 (via theplanetd.com)
White monoliths jutted out of the landscape, but nothing compared to our final destination…Our campsite was surrounded by the most amazing rock formations I have ever seen resembling mushrooms, camels and hawks. These pure white and smooth shapes were scattered throughout the area. We climbed atop one of the formations and watched the sun go down.
