This lady describes the wonderful biking she enjoyed along canals, crossed rivers, lakes on ferries, old-fashioned windmills and even seeing an old castle. The extent of the bike paths and bike lanes in The Netherlands (and Belgium too) is truly astounding. I was also impressed with the huge bicycle parking lots – this must be The Land of Cycling!
Here is an impressive account of a bicycle tour passing by wild papayas, picking up fallen green or worm riddled mangoes, the remarkable enterprise of growing kiwi fruit and a lot of other curiosities on the way. Wow! Bicycling can truly be a lot of fun, especially in such a fabulous country like New Zealand. It really inspired me to try it.
