Can you believe it? It is a report of 33 years of traveling by the "Most Traveled Man in History" included in the Guinness Record Book. Impression of traveling to China, where everybody break rules; Russia and the post soviet republics, and Africa where you should be careful with local bees which are allergic to soap. Back to Africa
Submitted by roxy on 2007-05-31 05:49:08 (via www.bougerolle.net)
This is a complex trip through Western Africa –challenging, interesting and dangerous in the same time. During such a trip you really get to know the African continent, not only the beauties of the landscape, which most of the people are acquainted with during planned trips, but the difficulties of the population, the bureaucracy and corruption.   More...

Africa
Submitted by roxy on 2007-05-29 10:46:20 (via www.geocities.com)
This is one of the most complex trips I perhaps read about: different countries, different cultures, people, animals, rivers, lakes, volcanoes, camps, luxury hotels, all in one. But the most important is the real adventure that the generous African Continent can offer.

Scandinavian

The most common words in this article are “beautiful” and “really nice”. Indeed the unspoiled beauty of the fjords and the little houses is so pleasant. Even the cities are touched by the relaxed attractiveness of the rural landscape. Capital of Finland and beautiful. A really relaxed city. Easy to walk around and the trams are good as well.

Salzburg to Venice
Submitted by pablo on 2007-05-21 04:29:58 (via www.christopher-chan.com)
“We were spoilt by the top conditions of the Austrian trains - clean, modern, well-equipped and spacious. From Innsbruck, we transferred to trains operated by the Italian railways and these trains were a complete opposite to the Austrian ones - dirty, old, poorly-equipped, cramped and smelly!” Welcome to see the other part of the awesome Italy!

Courting Behavior Around the World
Submitted by Adele on 2007-05-18 04:05:07 (via www.biz2web.com)
As you travel around the world, is interesting how certain things vary from one nation to another. As it was with the toilets, so it is with the courting behavior. The author was surprised with the short shorts of a girls in Russia, but that is more and more of a common sight in this country… No surprise for the elderly anymore.

Spain, France and Greece
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-05-14 03:49:03 (via www.mindspring.com)
About Spain it’s said to have “the grace of France, the carefree atmosphere of Italy, but its own uniquely Spanish flair.” How beautiful! But this article also talks of France and Greece, highlighting the most special moments one can experience there.

Bathrooms Around the World
Submitted by Adele on 2007-05-14 03:16:28 (via www.biz2web.com)
“All of you probably can remember a time when you were desperate for one!” Just as there is a diversity of cultures, so it is with toilets. And it’s quite fascinating to read about it in a first hand account from a couple that have experiences them all.

A Tale of Ten Cities
Submitted by Laurentzi on 2007-05-04 11:39:59 (via www.adventureprone.com)
In Montpellier you should see the Antigone, the Arc d' Triumph, the aqueduct, and maybe the cathedral. Being in Chamonix during the winter means one thing - snowboarding. In St. Columb, especially around Chrismas, anticipate the beer delight. To find out what you can do in London, Budapest, Pisa, Rome, Naples, Olympia or Athens read on.
