| Some of one’s favorite memories are of his worst days. This is the case of Ally, who discovered the warmth and generosity of the Timorese people, graciously helping reassemble his dying motorbike several times. In East Timor, accommodation can be hardly found; so, in extreme need, one may find himself sleeping in a toilet ante-room (!).

| “Of the more than 20 countries I've visited, Brunei would certainly be the last I'd go to again.” It doesn’t sound too appealing, does it? But this article is really worth reading, it gives a critical but constructive opinion on political, economical and social situation in this controversial state. The author's discreet irony is really enjoyable!

| Brunei has a lot to offer: from the abundance of Benzes to above-water communities. Bandar Seri Begawan, its capital, has three notable features and within less than an hour, one can see just about everything, but there is always more left to enjoy, like great movie experiences in luxurious hotels and ceremonious arrival of government officials.

| Madagascar is definitely the opposite of what we take for granted in the big cities: laid-back villages, tropical sun and wild, unspoiled beaches… Doesn’t this look like heaven? But the most important are the people – always welcoming and smiling, the biggest blessing for a real vacation.

| What is so unique about Guinea Bissau? It is one of the few countries where you may be the only tourist in town. Another great thing is that apparently there is no pollution at all. Just for one reason: when you don't have a plastic bag, you can't throw it to the river. Thirdly, the purity and honesty of the people make GB a great country to visit.

| What do you know about Guinea? It’s music, friendly people, the red earth and lush foliage. It’s simple pace of life, fresh fruit at the roadside markets, crusty French bread in the mornings. It’s countryside, broken down buses and chickens, dry dust, and cold bucket showers. Tell me if you find avything better for a vacation for the mind.

| This is a complex trip through Western Africa –challenging, interesting and dangerous in the same time. During such a trip you really get to know the African continent, not only the beauties of the landscape, which most of the people are acquainted with during planned trips, but the difficulties of the population, the bureaucracy and corruption.
