Gdansk
Submitted by bindero on 2007-04-27 10:28:31 (via www.demel.net)
Interesting trip…although it is obvious to observe the architecture of the new cities you visit…but it is a special trip, an architectural trip. So, this particular one is in the city of Gdansk in the North of Poland, where all of the buildings here are given equal attention along the entire street facade. Must be a really cool view…

Pavia

Going to Italy and eating at MacDonald’s? Wired, but there is nothing wrong with the people’s different tastes. Instead, it’s so exciting picking up a city on the map and just go there with the gang, without knowing a think about it. Most exciting is if the city turns to be really cool; if not, a good pub will make things looking better. Isn’t it?

Laos
Submitted by bindero on 2007-04-27 10:21:18 (via www.threemonkeysonline.com)
Laos is a country of mysteries…For example, it is considered ill-bred and irreligious in Laos to work more than is necessary…The accumulation of wealth which is not to be used for definite, approved purposes, causes a man to lose prestige among his neighbors, just as in the west, the process is reversed. Just unbelievable!

Moscow
Submitted by lisa on 2007-04-27 10:17:50 (via babakfakhamzadeh.com)
The experience to visit Moscow is indeed challenging. Not only that this is considered the most expensive European city, but also a very interesting one. For example, a nice discussion with the police and $500 would help you get out of jail for hitting a couple of persons. And this is not all…:)   More...

Seattle Departure & Berlin, Germany
Submitted by pablo on 2007-04-27 10:15:46 (via www.shipcafe.net)
What means economy class with the Scandinavian airlines? It’s not the worst option! The words of a witness: “The in-flight service was just fantastic as was the aircraft itself. It was very much first-class for being so. I enjoyed the personal video monitors that host a variety of amenities such as games, movies, and a live video camera”.

Cordoba
Submitted by cleo on 2007-04-27 09:26:07 (via www.wired2theworld.com)
What do you do, if you end up in Cordoba? Maybe by reading this, one can get a pretty good idea what the place is like, moreover there are plenty of pictures. The main attraction seems to be Mezquita, which I gather is a very architecturally intricate fortress…   More...

One Night in Bangkok
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-04-27 09:07:06 (via www.jackieturbo.com)
Impressions of Bangkok from a Netherlands’ girl: starting from the double check and the airports and ending with a Super Girls Club treat – maybe it was funny for men, but the girls performing seemed bored. What’s there to be excited about?   More...

Surf and People in Kuta
Submitted by cleo on 2007-04-27 08:55:55 (via www.ourreallybigadventure.com)
“It is just a matter of time before Kuta Uncovered is the next sex and alcohol fuelled docu-drama. It has all the ingredients of a frat boy's wet dream: cheap beer, sun, sea, surf and tropical sunshine almost tailor designed to keep what the girls wear to a minimum.” To some this will look like an exiting place to travel, to others – a sad reality.   More...
