Death in the Afternoon
Submitted by Amber on 2007-03-28 05:38:48 (via www.shunya.net)
A traveler, haunted by scenes from a bullring, wanders the city. This time the Matador de Toros striding in for the solo act is a woman. But there are many more contrasting things to witness in Mexico.

Gibraltar by the Danube
Submitted by cleo on 2007-03-23 09:37:02 (via www.geocities.com)
Here is an article about the Novi Sad in Yugoslavia: definitely a well preserved place in spite of the NATO bombing in 1999. Another amazing thing is the Petrovaradin's underground – a system of tunnels that are still intact today, as they were 300 years ago. It’s actually the place, where Underground film was made.   More...

A Camel Trek in Sinai
Submitted by Amber on 2007-03-23 09:31:37 (via www.trekdiary.com)
This is a very unusual trip to Sinai, ignoring the comfy, luxurious hotels and heading off to a stone walled and mud roofed building with no door, where you can sleep on the roof under the starry sky. Three days of camel trekking along the wide valleys and the rough mountains, then a visit to Ras Mohammed National Park, definitely worth visiting.

The Blue Ringed Octopus
Submitted by Amber on 2007-03-23 08:19:02 (via www.heldencrow.com)
If you go to Australia, don’t stop to sleep in a hostel dorm. You never know what you may encounter. And that is not the spiders, sharks, taipans, scorpions, stonefish, jellyfish, sea snakes, ticks or blue ringed octopus I’m talking about… But it’s New Zealand that will impress you with its shortage of people.   More...

Laguna Beach
Submitted by lisa on 2007-03-23 07:47:43 (via www.amwest-travel.com)
Laguna Beach is one of southern California's most pleasing resorts with a wide range of amenities. However the beautiful beaches and ideal weather continue to be the town's premiere attractions. For those who like hiking and unspoiled beauty, Laguna Beach is completely surrounded by wilderness parks, open areas, and reserves. Chic place!

California 1996
Submitted by roxy on 2007-03-23 07:44:54 (via www.johann-sandra.com)
Willing to visit North America? Then you should consider the most representative cities, so that you do not get disappointed by what you see there. The authors of this site would not probably recommend you to visit Vancouver, but rather the Californian coast. Warning! Double check the AC in your car when planning the trip by your car.

Los Angeles
Submitted by pablo on 2007-03-23 07:22:01 (via www.travellersonline.net)
There is so much to see in the LA. Hollywood, its famous boulevards and shops, Beverly Hills in all its luxury, the Santa Monica Shopping Centre, the Fashion District, where you are not 100% sure of the quality of the products, but you need some extra hands to carry all the bags from there. All this is so thrilling and really inspiring for more!

To the Moon!
Submitted by lisa on 2007-03-23 07:12:57 (via realtravel.com)
What trip can be more pleasant than the honey moon trip? Especially when you go to really special places as, for example, the Badlands National Park. And who said it is not as romantic as for example going to Venice or Paris? The Wall Drug who offers free water to all tourists and 5 cents coffee, isn’t it the real happiness?
