Greece
Submitted by Adele on 2007-02-01 07:18:32 (via www.tripsource.com)
What a wonderful story! A great inspiration for your wedding celebration:) I would definitely like to run barefoot on the sand in a wedding gown, especially on a non-touristy beach in Greece. There are many funny moments and particularities about Greece, its culture, food and people, not to mention the spectacular views...   More...

Art and Architecture of Modern Spain
Submitted by cmaingue on 2007-01-30 10:58:05 (via www.circatours.com)
Spain is THE hotbed of modern architecture right now, as evidenced by a recent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Besides visiting great architectural projects from Madrid to Bilbao to Barcelona and Valencia, I checked out the Catalonia of modern Spanish painters like Juan Miró, Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso.   More...

Visiting Sikkim: India's Newest State
Submitted by gonomad on 2007-01-29 09:11:15 (via www.gonomad.com)
A place with astounding valleys and spectacular mountains, where you lose mobile connection along with the sense of time. In author’s opinion, if Elves and Hobbits can exist anywhere, it has to be in North Sikkim. Now I know where to look for them :O)

Submitted by Laurentzi on 2007-01-26 08:05:09 (via www.traveltalker.co.uk)
This is mostly about the nightlife and skying in… Lebanon. Yes, Lebanon! They also get snow – who would have thought? ;) And, of course, the beautiful habibi… many of them. I think it's worth visiting;)

Traveling to Vietnam
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-01-26 07:59:21 (via www.cristytrembly.com)
Reading this article was a true discovery for me. As it turns out, Vietnam has an entire city underground with 100 tunnels build all the way to the sea. Quite curious and captivating to read.   More...

Karawari and the Sepik Spirit: Sago and Shopping
Submitted by roxy on 2007-01-26 02:21:05 (via www.xenophilia.net)
What we know about Papuans? Very little or about nothing. We find their habits strange if not completely wild. That is why we are very impressed by thir culture and modus vivendi. It’s indeed a fascinating world!

Nazca
Submitted by christine on 2007-01-25 04:17:21 (via volker.umpfenbach.de)
"Nazca is famous for lines and giant symbols ancient Indians left in the rocky plain between 800 BC and 600 AC. The only way to actually see them is from a plane”. Yes, but the ancient Indians haven't had a plane, so how could they so preciselly leave them? Maybe the lines are indeed the extraterresters’ work? What do you think about this?

Achille 2001
Submitted by lisa on 2007-01-25 03:21:01 (via www.eu-train.net)
Achille Island? Sounds pretty exotic, and it indeed is! They have their own language, they used to have massive shark fishing, so that sometimes the sea would be red of blood; from here the word “boycott” would appear. And one more thing… the people here are the most hospitable in the world. Where the island is? Read and check it out!

Paracas and Islas Ballestas
Submitted by christine on 2007-01-25 02:54:11 (via volker.umpfenbach.de)
After reading this article I associate Paracas and Islas Ballestas with the history of Guano production - the famous ferilizer, and some jobs related to this product, such as Guano Extraction Manager; the enigmatic El Candelabro, and the spectacular desert shore fauna. Perhaps, this place may pretend to be one of the most mysterious in the world.

Genova
Submitted by bindero on 2007-01-25 02:48:36 (via www.thetravelzine.com)
Genova – one of the most beautiful Italian cities, also known for its very delicious food. You know what idea came to me when reading this article? That I would like to stay somewhere in Genova, admiring the Alps, listening to the Italian music, eat Italian food and delight myself with a glass of great wine. Not bad tastes, no?
