| Hurghada, Egypt |

| No more than a fishing village fifteen years ago, Hurghada is now a city of forty thousand, whose big bang growth is attributable to just one thing: tourism. Although you may be annoyed by honking taxi drivers, sleazy date-seekers and insistent souvenir vendors, just a wider view on the beauties of Hurghada makes you forever love it!

| One Day in Swaziland |
| Submitted by kiwi on
2007-02-21 06:17:53 (via
www.worldtravelstories.com) |
| Reading this will touch you in a different way. One day in Swaziland will make you quiet by the end and thinking that was too much. It simply puts life values in a different perspective and confirms that having a happy life is pretty much dependant on how you look at it. This is one thing I like about traveling around to different places.

| Africa Travelogue: Tanzania! |
| Submitted by pablo on
2007-02-20 06:55:55 (via
www.odeo.net) |
| “After sunset, the camp erupted with a plethora of animal sounds. The forest adjacent to the river had come alive. We listened intently as each roar came closer to us. Under other circumstances, I would have been happy that my tent, at the end of the row, was the one farthest from the main camping area”. Safari…deadly scaring…, but worth it!

| Africa Travelogue: Rwanda! |
| Submitted by bindero on

www.odeo.net) |
| This article contains everything I would like to read about an African country. It’s all just so different and interesting there. Children staring at white men and running behind the car, crying “bottle!”, gorillas showing interest to cameras and farting so strong to delimitate the territory, traditional dances…Magnificent adventure!

| The Shadows of Old Africa |
| Submitted by Adele on
2007-02-09 02:13:18 (via
www.tripsource.com) |
| Amazing how at beginning of 21st century the lifestyle and habits of some African tribes folks have remain unchanged for years: the women practice of lower lips extension, the ritual of painting patterns on their faces and bodies and the constant fighting between tribes over water and pasture-grounds for the cattle, now using AK-47s rifles…

| Camel Trekking in Timbuktu |
| Submitted by kiwi on
2007-02-02 08:37:45 (via
www.moxon.net) |
| People get fascinated about different things when traveling to a certain destination. This time the remarkable thing to fall for was the desert: the khaki sand dunes, the olive scrubland and the light blue sky, all in this camel rocking rhythm combined with the deadening effect of the sand sucking up all the sound around.

| If you ever plan to travel to Mali prepare to walking around with a scroll of animal skin under your arm for a map. He-he-he! You think that’s funny? Some training in bargaining will also prepare you well for such trip, but you get quite a good lesson on the subject just by reading this article. It’s quite humorous!

| Beware of Freak Waves |
| Submitted by Laurentzi on
2007-01-25 02:03:52 (via
www.keithv.com) |
| By its title you would think this article is about a freakish experience out in the sea somewhere. Of course, nothing compares with the excitement of catching the fist fish when only 24 year old, but there is sand boarding, smelling a seal colony, petting a cheetah, and other unforgettable moments like these.

| Simply South Africa |
| Submitted by Adele on

| Boy, this article is truly amazing. If I were to advertise South Africa I would call it the place where “penguins and people alike swim, play and sun themselves”. A very interesting trip with such a great variety of experiences: you know, the baboons and their funny and strange weakness, whale watching, wine tasting, etc., etc… You must read it!
