Wow!!! Fantastic pictures in this article, really good shoots of the Victoria Falls and funny observations about the local hotels and bus transportation. I’ve heard travelling by bus in Africa is an unforgettable experience. These guys proved it to be so.

Zambian Justice

An American ending up in a court in Zambia ? Sounds curious, doesn’t it? If you happen to be camping in those lands watch out for the small lizards with all the colors of the rainbow. They are charming, but they will start grabbing things off your plate, if you aren’t careful. Oops!   More...

Keeping Time in Africa
Submitted by lisa on 2007-01-12 05:11:16 (via kabiza.com)
Another wonderful article about the African lifestyle and their sensitivity of living the moment. This is an article-comparison of the time perception of German, American, and Ugandan people. A touchy article about time, money and relationships.   More...

Tanzania’s Wildlife
Submitted by Laurentzi on 2007-01-12 05:01:07 (via softadventure.net)
“We were scared out of our wits when a Masai warrior, steel-tipped spear in hand, stepped from the shadows into the middle of the path in front of us. We stared at each other…” Ooh! Not good! Also, you will know what happens when a rhino and a elephant meet or when an elephant and a car meet. It matters, especially when you are in that car…

This article really shocked me. I have never thought of the African customs and values being so strong and so deeply implanted in every member of the community. Plus, the author’s fine perception of the African soul… it makes of this article a delicious piece to read.   More...

Mauritius and Reunion - Two Interesting Islands
Submitted by kiwi on 2006-12-29 02:30:20 (via www.cristytrembly.com)
Mauritius: the Pamplemousse Gardens with huge ponds with mushroomy-type flowers and lily pads in the water - a striking and a very beautiful place. Chamerel, a desert-like place where the sands separate by colors. Reunion, the beaches are nice and clean, the food is great, the people are pretty friendly, especially if you speak French!!   More...

Submitted by Adele on 2006-12-29 01:29:44 (via www.hammamet-yasmine.com)
Have you ever had a vacation where at 5 p.m. sharp, right when the temperature is nicer, the tourists are "removed" from the beach by the beach boy with the words: "tourist finished, end of working time"? In Tunisia this happens. And not only this. Read on and make your own conclusions about where to stop when traveling there.   More...

The Temples or Luxor and Karnak
Submitted by kiwi on 2006-12-28 01:33:38 (via www.edwebproject.org)
Never thought something like this exist: a construction of true grandeur with an astonishing colonnade and dozens of sphinx and heads of kinds lining the streets. But how it can go about without some adventure at the airport or on the bus - an incident like this will forever change the psyche of a border guy (smile). This happens.:)

Submitted by roxy on 2006-12-20 02:39:17 (via www.traveltoparadise.de)
“Kasbahs, Berber and nomads. These are only some catchwords which describe Morocco”. What happened to my old dream, getting to see the desert? Reading this article made me vivdly imagine the powerful sand dunes and the amazing green oases in North Africa, and it got me started: I’m already putting money aside for the trip of my life. I’m serious!:)   More...

Her Name is Nagat
Submitted by kiwi on 2006-12-15 02:50:48 (via soly.st)
Cairo with its maze of streets and lanes, its quarters and bazaars is like a labyrinth invented by ancient storytellers. Cairo is like an ancient lady who has lived a thousand years or more, who has seen power come and go.., but there is another great thing she saw - something that leaves anybody bewildered…
