Fish Bait
Submitted by Adele on 2007-01-19 05:58:12 (via www.tripsource.com)
“Suddenly I felt a sharp stinging sensation on my arms and legs… I caught a flash of gray in the corner of my left eye… My heart jumped into my throat and began to beat a drum roll… The shark was within a few meters.” This article sent me on a roler coaster of feelings: from my hair standing up to laughing with tears by the end. Outstanding!   More...

Awful India Facts
Submitted by bindero on 2007-01-19 04:53:53 (via www.heartspace.org)
This is India from the perspective of an American tourist, describing the spendid temples of Delhi, but also people sleeping in parking lots; people with all sort of headgear and wild dress; lotsa folks asking for handouts; people selling all sorts of paraphenalia. It’s an impressive and touchy article, which I liked a lot.   More...

THAILAND: BANGKOK
Submitted by bindero on 2007-01-18 04:34:14 (via www.break-fresh-ground.com)
Bangkok – that is a fascinating world with a floating market, enormous budha temples and exotic taxi drivers. It is not interesting the trip if you don’t have some special adventures or a “good” communication with the local community. This article is not an exception. I had a lot of fun with it:)   More...

Hi, here you are, another crazy article by a Canadian guy, this time about China. It seems China can be an el-dorado land for those willing to buy “real” Prada or Gucci things for cents:). Yeah, one more good advice - if you’re going to buy copied DVDs from street vendors, make sure the movies aren’t in Russian. I will pay attention to this.   More...

Holiday in Cambodia
Submitted by kiwi on 2007-01-12 04:43:43 (via www.slrobertson.com)
It's really impressing to read about the massive scale construction of Angkor Temples with a very intricate artwork in stone. Magnificent indeed. Some will recognize the Ta Phrom temple from Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. But mostly I’ve been touched and amazed by the Angkor children’s business and language skills…   More...

The Great Namche Pizza Conspiracy
Submitted by Laurentzi on 2006-12-28 01:43:55 (via photosbymartin.com)
Climbing Everest is not an easy task. Not many will resist the altitude and the rice and vegetable menu. So, you start dreaming about something else… maybe a pizza. Yes, a pizza! But then comes the dilema: which pizza is better???

You can’t tell the difference unless you discover the conspiracy behind it… I think this last part was made up;o).   More...

Cambodia Adventure
Submitted by roxy on 2006-12-26 05:04:32 (via www.break-fresh-ground.com)
“You buy from me later”. “Maybe”. “No maybe. You buy from me later, okay?”. That’s one way to do business; at least in Cambodia. But who cares, that place is too gorgeous to have these details matter. The Ankgor Wat is legendary for a reason, and the Tree Temple is a-w-e-s-o-m-e (this article’s got good pics of it). Check it out. No maybes!   More...
