I knew very little about Azerbaijan before reading this article. What impressed me are the huge, immensely modern gas stations there, since the oil industry is highly developed. And there’s a lot to find out about attractions too – from seaside to old buildings, mountains and ancient carvings dating since the 1st century C.E. Surely worth reading!

Finding accommodation in places unpopular with tourists is difficult, as it proved to be in Azerbaijan, it is rather expensive as well. Don't let this scare you off, the joy of exploring Baku will surely compensate any annoyance.
