Bangladesh Vacations

Bangladesh is a little off the beaten tourist track, but it doesn’t deserve to be, so don’t by-pass it on your way to better-known destinations. Dhaka, the Capital, is an ancient city with bazaars in most of its squares. It also boasts several very good museums, botanical gardens and zoo. To see some of the country’s splendid mosques, including the Sixty Dome Mosque which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, take a trip to Bagerhat. Inani Beach is the longest, widest beach in the world and one of the most beautiful. Bird watchers won’t want to leave Rajendrapur National Park with its huge variety of birdlife and if you want to see a Bengal tiger visit the coastal Sundarbans, the world’s biggest mangrove forest.
