Mississippi Vacations

Mississippi is famous for being the birthplace of two internationally known stars. Visit the small house in Tupelo where Elvis Presley was born and see the statue of “the King” aged 13 in the adjacent museum. In Leland, tour the Jim Henson Museum: Birthplace of the Frog to learn all about the lovable Kermit and his friends. Blues lovers shouldn’t miss a visit to the Highway 61 Blues Museum in Leland and the Delta Blues Museum in Clarksdale. To learn about the State’s History, visit the Old Capitol Historical Museum, the Smith Robertson Museum and the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center. Ride the Monster Bison Bus to see buffalo in the Tupelo Buffalo Park and go on a paddle-wheel steamboat along the Mississippi River. Sample excellent wines and buy antiques along the Deep South Antique and Wine Trail.
