Often overlooked in the rush to visit Ireland, Northern Ireland is, nevertheless worthy of a good long stay. Explore Derry/Londonderry with its wealth of historic sites, Belfast to see Belfast's maritime heritage monument "Titanic Belfast" and the marvelous Ulster Folk & Transport Museum. Visit Down Cathedral where the Patron Saint of Ireland, St Patrick is buried and wander through the ruins of Dunluce Castle. For superb views of Belfast and the surrounding countryside, climb to the top of Cave Hill. Head out for the Giant's Causeway aboard a Victorian steam train. If you are feeling fit hop on a bike and follow the National Cycle Network; for less strenuous bike rides County Armagh has shorter trails to follow. Explore the Marble Arch Caves Geopark and take the boat tour to visit the magnificent caverns.
