Zimbabwe offers a large choice of activities for the adventurous traveller. You can bungee-jump from the Victoria Falls Bridge – the thrill of a life-time! If flinging yourself off a bridge doesn’t grab you, try white-water rafting below the Falls in Batoka Gorge, or fly over them in a light air-craft to get amazing photos. Zimbabwe has eight National Parks where you can go on walking, canoeing or classic safaris. The Eastern Highlands have numerous hiking trails and you will have a stunning view from “World’s View” on Mount Nyangani. In Harare visit the Larrou Bird Gardens, the Lion and Cheetah Park and the Ewanrigg Botanical Gardens. The Robert McIlwaine Recreational Park 30km from the city has over 400 different species of birdlife.
