CLE is an independent institute for French studies founded in 1985. CLE is located in the heart of the lively old city of Tours, it occupies a magnificently renovated 18th century building. It even has a 15th century cellar. You will study in spacious, comfortable classrooms, and during the summer months you can relax on our rooftop terrace. A warm, multicultural atmosphere will encourage your participation in all aspects of the school's life.
Faculty Information:
Our intensive courses are taught by qualified teachers, who specialise in teaching French as a foreign language. Their competence and enthusiasm will make learning a pleasure.

CLE puts at your disposal a library where you will find newspapers, magazines, press files, novels, reference books, books in basic French, self-correcting grammar and vocabulary exercises, cassettes to improve your pronunciation and oral comprehension and for the DELF exam preparation, DVDs, CD-ROMs for research purposes and software to improve your abilities, free access to internet, a video and DVD library with numerous French and international films.
