Our most popular course is the executive program. In case you need to learn Spanish in a very short period of time and you wish to be totally immersed in the language, we offer you the 8 hours per day executive program specially designed for your needs as it is composed of 7 hours of private class instruction and one lunch hour with your teacher. It is an ideal program for executives who need to learn or better their Spanish as fast as possible and also for people who wish to move to a Spanish speaking country shortly.
We have custom made instruction for professionals of various backgrounds: teachers, medical doctors or assistants, dentists, lawyers, language therapists, psychologists, business people, military officers, diplomats, USCG, social workers and nurses.
We are also proud to offer a unique course for real estate agents who work with or for companies with interest in Latin America.
Faculty Information:
Founded in 1987, 20 years ago with a Consistent management and administration; a quality home stay program. Families are carefully selected to meet the student's needs. Many families have been hosting students since our inception.
The quality of our professors is unmatched. Our professors have a teaching experience of a minimum 10 years and take part in an ongoing training program. We have a total of 27 professors, 10 which are permanent.
Other Activities:
Numerous complimentary after-school activities including: dance lessons, happy hour, cooking class, cultural field trips, etc.
We have a tourist information desk onsite Monday-Friday and can help you with information on tours, accommodations and also recommendations in case you wish to go "backpacking"J.
Facility Information:
ILISA is in a wonderful location in San Pedro. Our location is in a very quiet neighborhood, but we are very close to the University of Costa Rica. The facility also includes a restaurant for our students, a computer lab, wireless internet and a bed and breakfast right in front of the school. There are many things to do such as cinemas, gyms, open spaces for running or walking, beauty centers, night life and also places to eat in our neighborhood and within walking distance.
Our students can choose from the following courses: 4 hours individually, group + individual, group classes or an all day executive program. We offer academic credit to our students.
