want to improve their command of the language and broaden their understanding of Russian culture and history. Instruction is in
Russian (unless marked). Courses are instrucr´ted in Russian.

• Russian Literature of the Imperial Era III
• Christian Culture in Russia
• History of Russian Empire 1700-1917
• Russian Phonetics, Lexicology, Normative Grammar

Faculty Information:
Courses in Russian Studies Semester Program are delivered mostly by local teaching staff, some courses are delivered by visiting international staff. Instruction is completely in Russian and some courses are provided in English. English and Russian are relatively widely spoken outside of the classroom, in administrative units of the university, in stores, etc.
Other Activities:
Students are offered to take part in group study trips to St. Petersburg and Narva at extra cost. Students get access to University sports center at a discounted price. Student social life is coordinated by Erasmus Student Network, which organizes numerous events for students, e.g. international food days, week end trips, sports events, parties, and more (usually at a very affordable price).
The main highlight of student life each semester is autumn and spring Student days, when the Rector hands the power over to students. These days are filled with events and attract students from all over Estonia to Tartu, Estonia's academic capital!
Facility Information:
Lectures for Russian Studies Semester Program are held in modern study rooms of the UT Language Centre, Baltic Studies Center and EuroCollege. Students admitted to the program study alongside Estonian and international students. Free wireless Internet is available in most study buildings, in the library and even in the city hall square!

Price of 3345 EUR/per semester includes:
- Tuition
- Accommodation in student dormitory (double room)
