Udi’s academic background (BA in History – working towards MA, studies at the Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot) combined with his love of the bible give him a profound understanding of the country. He completed his tour guide license in 1994 and has been guiding tours throughout Israel, since.

JERUSALEM - With an ongoing history of more than 4000 years there isn't a city in the world that evokes so much emotion. JERUSALEM - embracing so many people throughout the world. And for thousands of years. For Jerusalem we propose:

1 day route:

- Traveling north along the Rift Valley
- Stop on the shores of the Dead Sea - lowest point on earth - to immerse yourselves in the mineral rich water
- Continue north along the shore of the Dead Sea passing the sites where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered
- Proceed on towards Jerusalem via the ancient route from Jericho with its breathtaking sites
- Stop atop the Mt. of Olives for a panoramic view of the old city, where over 3000 years of history unravels before you
- Descend to Gethsemane at the foot of the Mountain
- Travel the “Last Path” in Kidron Valley and enter the Old City of Jerusalem via Dung Gate
- Visit the Wailing Wall and cross the Temple Mount past the holy Moslim Shrine
- Walk the “Via Dolorosa” to the Holy Sepulchre
- Depart the Old City via Jaffa Gate browsing through the colourful eastern bazaar
- Return to the coach for a short ride to the town of Bethlehem and a visit to the Church of Nativity
- A visit to Yad Vashem, time permitting
- Drive back through the streets of new Jerusalem
- Return to Eilat in the evening.

2 day route

- Traveling north along the Rift Valley
- Visit the mighty fortress of Masada, last stronghold of the Jews in the war against the Romans
- Stop on the shores of the Dead Sea- lowest point on earth - to immerse yourselves in the mineral rich water
- Rejuvenated and after a lunch break, continue on towards Jerusalem via the ancient route from Jericho with
its breathtaking sites
- Visit Yad Vashem, the Israeli Holocaust Museum
- Check into hotel for dinner and O/N.

- Start the morning with a panoramic view of the old city from the Mt. of Olives, where over 3000 years of history
unravels before you.
- Descend to Gethsemane at the foot of the Mountain. Travel the “Last Path” in Kidron Valley and enter the Old City
of Jerusalem via Dung Gate. Visit the Wailing Wall and cross the Temple Mount past the holy Moslim Shrine

- Descend to the shores of the Dead Sea for an afternoon of leisure
- Indulge yourselves in the mineral-rich black mud of the Dead Sea, float in its therapeutic waters or simply relax at the spa
- Return to Eilat at the end of the day.

AVDAT

- Travel along the Israeli - Egyptian border till the Ramon Crater, leaving behind, the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Eilat
- Climb to Mitspe Ramon overlooking the world's largest phenomena of its kind
- View snakes, scorpions and giant lizards in their habitat
- Drive to Avdat - fascinating town of the Nabateans and see their concealed water sources
- Continue on to the spa at the oasis of Neve Midbar. Relax at the completely new facilities where the rich mineral
water erupts out of the ground at a temperature of 39 C.
- Return to Eilat towards evening.

ARCHEOLOGY

AGRICULTURE & SETTLEMENT

- In the summer of 1909, a handful of young men and women left the Kinneret Agricultural Training Farm, heading across the mouth of the swampy Jordan river to establish what became one of the most interesting social experiments in farm settlement.
