Welcome to Italy and to this unspoiled area of Tuscany where we live. Come with us to experience its landscape of Crete hills and stretches of woodlands, olive groves and vineyards.
Meet its people who have retained their Tuscan character, their humor, hospitality, traditional skills... and a love of good food and wine. Tours are fully guided by Ugo or Barbara Mariotti who live and work on their picturesque farm growing grapes and olives in beautiful Southern Tuscany.
Because we've made our life here in Southern Tuscany on an old farm producing wine and olive oil, we know the area and its people. We've also lived and worked in other areas of Italy which we've come to know and love equally well. Over the years, responding to the wishes of visiting friends and clients, we’ve developed a range of winning Tours based on this knowledge.
Small group tours - we prefer to cater for a maximum of eight guests whom we guide ourselves.
At a pace to suit - traveling time is kept short so you have more time on the ground. Guests can choose to explore on their own, go shopping or just sit and watch the passing parade...
Magnificent food & wine - we're well able to recommend the best regional dishes and local wines including the D.O.C. & D.O.C.G., plus those special places to eat. Che buono!! Most tours include a cooking lesson and meal in farmhouse kitchens or aristocratic villas.

WALKS & TASTES OF TUSCANY - A fine food and wine walking tour of Tuscany with guides Ugo & Barbara Mariotti. Wander the byways and experience the simple beauty of the land its people, their lifestyle and culture. Wander ever-changing backroads and forest trails through the Tuscan hills, vineyards and olive groves visiting charming hilltop towns and shopping at local open-air markets. Eight scenic days exploring some of the best of Medieval, Renaissance and Etruscan Tuscany.
Stay in Siena and dine on the famous The Campo, spend 4 nights in the picturesque town of Pienza famous for its cheeses and porcini mushrooms with a final night in Chiusi, one of the main centers of Etruscan Tuscany. There will be ample opportunity to taste the local specialties and local wines including the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello in farmhouses and regional restaurants. Stay in beautiful Pienza, location for films such as "The English Patient", "Romeo and Juliet". Spend two nights in the countryside and then enjoy a final night in hill-top Cortona, the setting for the best-seller "Under the Tuscan Sun".
