ORHEI VECHI - This tour you’ll give you the possibility to visit museum of popular handcrafts from Ivancea, the cave church Orhei Vechi, vestiges of the old fortress. You’ll taste national food at the peasant house “Casa din Lunca” from Trebujeni village.
Orhei Vechi is the most beautiful open air museum at only 50 km from Chisinau. Here you will find the cave church; build in the limestone, by the first Christians that came on this territory. The vestiges of the Sehr-al-Jedid town from the Golden Horde period, (14th century!) will make you feel the atmosphere of those cloudy times. Wonderful experiences!
The traditional Moldavian food accompanied with Moldavian wine at „Casa din Lunca” peasant house will introduce you to the hospitality of this nation!
