Here I’m recommending you the most popular walking tour around Moscow. Every tour consists of smaller tours which can be easily separated from each other what gives possibility for you to combine your own tour, according to your own needs.
- City Walking Tour, 6 hours
* Kremlin: For some reason they close red sq. on Saturdays so I normally start with Alexander garden's honor guard change at the WW2 memorial.
* Merchants’ houses beside the Mosckva River: We start from The Kremlin walls, than pass by the Moskva ricer bridge with hilarious view where they normally take pictures. Than move down to a nice small park where you can find and an infamous group of statues - "the children - the victims of adults". Than we leave this artificial island and go to the famous pedestrian street to the Tretyakov art gallery. All the houses around dated 17-19 century. The area is nice and quiet. That’s where people normally get tired and have lunch in one of many cafes and restaurants. My advice is Ukrainian place.
* Rapid transit system ride tour: My advice is to ride the metro on cycle (brown line). You can sit in train and see all the major stations. In case you want you can go out to photograph a station. Trains in Moscow metro operate every 1-2 minutes. If this tour included to city tour package it starts from Novokuznetskaya metro with tram ride. Some people consider it’s a must to ride the Moscow tram.
* Panorama of Moscow: The rout starts at Voroviovy Gory metro station, the only metro station situated on a bridge which is automobile bridge at the same time. Than we have to climb up on the river bank. It is real good exercise if you had a good meal before. The air is very different from city center -really healthy. But after you will have a really good surprise - hilarious panoramic view to the Moscow city! That’s where the city tour finished.
- City Inline Skating Tour, 3 hours
If you feel like to do inline skating in Moscow I can be your tour guide also. I can show you 3 really good places for skating. They are the parks in different parts of Moscow - Victory Park, VDNHK (Soviet Exhibition Centre) and Vorobiovy hills (MSU main building). This tour only works for summer time. For winter time I can offer ice skating in Gorky park which roads covered with ice in winter.
- City Car Tour, 2 hours (depends on traffic)
It is really useful if you want to see the most of Moscow highlights but have not enough time. We can me a ride around one for the Moscow circle roads.
