Albi is considered like Toulouse and Montauban, one of south western France's Pink cities. Built of bricks the city offers unique examples of 13th - 15th century private mansions and monuments. Your visit will include the imposing fortresse like Saint Cécile's cathedral built after the Albigensian crusade to demonstrate the power of the church. Next to the cathedrale stands the Berbie palace, the residential palace of the Bishops of Albi. Today it houses the Toulouse Lautrec museum in which more than 200 paintings and posters (notably those of the Moulin Rouge) are shown. Following, your guide will take you on a stroll through the winding medieval streets of 'Old Alby'.
