It will commence with a short briefing in the Rocks on Image Design Principles, providing an illustrated overview of the photographic design principles and design elements set out in the course notes. The photography tour will then commence in the Rocks, at the northern end of city. Later in afternoon we will move to the Feng Shui designed Chinese Gardens. Instruction by a professional photographer who will be your guide. Make sure you bring your digital camera as this is a hands on practical course on Travel photography.
The tour begins at 8:30am in front of the Rocks Discovery Museum (Kendall Lane). We will explore both locations - The Rocks in the morning and the Chinese Gardens in the afternoon. The tour can be for locals or tourists. The tour + course is designed for all levels of photography regardless on the type of digital camera. It is about learning how to spot the shot, watch the light, place close attention to detail and compose the image as you see it.
Your Itinerary:
* 8:30 am: Meet at the front entrance of the Rocks Discovery Museum, Kendall Lane, The Rocks
* 8:30 - 11:30 am: The Rocks
*11:30am - 12:30 pm: Lunch at Leisure - Chinatown
*12:30 - 3:30 pm: Chinese Gardens, Darling Harbour
