I am an author, travel writer and African field guide with twenty years experience guiding in the Southern African region. My specific guiding experience has been as a field/ mountain guide in the Eastern Highland region of Zimbabwe, focusing particularly on the Chimanimani Mountain range on the Zimbabwe/ Mozambique frontier, but I have conducted many long range overland trips throughout the region, with specific focus on Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, South Africa and Malawi.
I am the author of a major work on the colonial history of Zimbabwe, published in South Africa, and I am currently working on a similar book covering the colonial history of Malawi. I am also an established travel writer. My interest is to assemble and guide small group, specific interest tours of the region, covering the usual attractions of African travel, but with a specific emphasis on history, culture and politics.
