Starting point is daily Gedachtniskirche at 10 a.m.: Kurfürstendamm, KadeWe - first class store since 1907 - Tiergarden, embassy area, Potsdamer Platz- modern architecture in a new center - Checkpoint Charlie and wall - once for the allied forces - Gendarmenmarkt - most beautiful place in Berlin known of the classic open air festival in front of the Conzert hall from Schinkel - Boulevard Unter Den Linden with its historic buildings: State Library, Opera house, Bebel Platz - memorial of the burned books by Nazis in 1933 - Hedwig cathedral, Berlin cathedral - protestant church from 1905 - Alexanderplatz and Television tower, Hackesche Höfe with its courtyards with galleries, studios, theaters, small shops, restaurants, cocktail-bars and clubs, S-Bahn to Brandenburg gate, U.S.embassy near Holocaust memorial.
The end is government area; participants who like to visit the Reichstag and to climb into the dome without standing in a queue have to register. We also offer this tour in spring and summer on bike or as an arranged sightseeing tour by bus until 49 person.
