1. How long has your business been operating, and
how did it start up?
Costa Rica Tours, Ltd. was established in 1998 by its owner after her retirement
from a 30-year career as an International Development Specialist, which began
with her two-year service as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Costa Rica.
2. What are the main attractions of your activity in the area you
operate?
Costa Rica is the first worldwide destination for nature and adventure
travel. We offer regional tours, plus theme tours such as our Garden
Tour, Sport Adventure, Cooking and Spa Escapes.
3. What unique features do you offer?
Since we specialize only in Costa Rica and Panama, we have developed
multiple tour packages throughout both countries, many of which are
not offered elsewhere. For example in Costa Rica we have created the
only Black Culture Tour with the annual Black Culture Day celebration
on the Caribbean coast, the only Tropical Cooking School and Tour and
Cooking and Spa Escapes; and in Panama, the only tour that goes to
the Azuero Peninsula. In addition, Costa Rica Tours, Ltd. can customize
tours to meet specific interests of groups and organizations.
4. What do your customers appreciate in you the most?
Our in-depth knowledge of both countries based on over 40 years of
experience; our customer service and our ability to customize tours
for our clients.
5. You have been an InfoHub partner since August 2001. How would
you describe your experience of working with InfoHub?
InfoHub has always been very responsive to our inquiries. We have received
many referrals from them, and find that those who do purchase are excellent
travelers who enjoy the cultural and educational aspects of our tours.
6. You have been quite successful in converting InfoHub referrals
into bookings. Our records show that you have been paying InfoHub
$10 for each referral. How would you explain your success? How do
you follow up with the referrals InfoHub sends you?
We respond to each referral within 24 hours, and provide answers to
all the inquirer's questions. When a telephone number is provided,
we will call the inquirer to discuss our tours in greater detail.

love for Costa
Rica and Panama and
