1. How long has your business been operating, and
how did it start up?
We have been operating for more than 8 years. In the beginning we were just two
young brothers who didn’t know that much about the business, but were eager
to show everybody the highlights of the country we knew so well so we set up
our first office in our aunt’s small hotel in Lima. Our first clients were
some tourists who were staying in the hotel and wanted to make last minute trips
to Machu Picchu and the Nazca Lines. Although we had to arrange these first trips
in double-quick time, we wanted to do our best, even if it was a lot of pressure
for us, and now all the hard work has paid off. Now we have our own office in
Miraflores, a network of representatives all over the country and our cousins
and some friends working with us.
2. What are the main attractions of your activity in the area you
operate?
I will mention four. The first one is the sacred city of Machu Picchu
- the most beautiful and enigmatic Inca site in South America. Here
you can have a once in a lifetime experience no words can describe.
Probably people’s second favorite is Lake Titicaca, the highest
navigable Lake in the world (12580 feet), and its floating totora reed
islands called the Uros. Then you cannot miss the Amazon. It is simply
amazing and probably the premier worldwide destination for wildlife.
Finally, the fourth main attraction is the Nazca Lines. Nobody knows
who built these mysterious drawings in the desert South of Lima, but
they are visible only from the air, which seems impossible when they
were created over 1000 years ago! As well as many geometric figures,
there are animals like a monkey, a fish, a spider and a hummingbird
represented in intricate detail.
3. What unique features do you offer?
Our unique point is our flexibility. All our trips are tailor-made
and can be customized to our clients’ exact requirements. Our
clients have assistance during their entire trip (24 hours) and we
can make last minute changes even during the trip if it is requested.
4. What do your customers appreciate in you the most?
They feel very happy and reassured when they are met by one of our
English-speaking representatives at the airports, train stations or
bus stations even at midnight; we make our clients feel very safe and
comfortable during their whole trip.
5. You have been an InfoHub partner since October 2003. How would
you describe your experience of working with InfoHub?
I can tell it has been a valuable and productive experience; besides
improving our sales, working with a very professional team like InfoHub
has enriched our work. You have no idea how excited we are when we
receive all your very effective tips, it is almost impossible to get
such an outstanding knowledge in our country. We hope to continue being
your partner in Peru.
6. You have been quite successful in converting InfoHub referrals
into bookings. Our records show that you have been paying InfoHub
$32.29 for each referral. How would you explain your success?
Thanks for considering us successful. I can tell you only that this
is the result of having InfoHub as our partner and our commitment to
doing our best for all our clients; we enjoy this work and our clients
can feel that. However we are convinced that we need to continue improving
our selling methods, because we want to be one of your most profitable
partners.
7. How do you follow up with the referrals InfoHub
sends you?
From the moment we receive a referral, we try to respond him/her very
quickly, and ask questions in order to know what the client is looking
for. Then we design an itinerary according to their exact requirements.
It is very easy for us to customize any tour.
8.
Is there anything else you'd like our visitors to know about your business?
Although we are not a big company, we always do our best to make sure all our
clients have a wonderful and memorable trip in Peru,
so just let us know your needs and interests and we will be happy to make all
the arrangements in order to meet the very highest of your expectations. |
