This sample tour starts in Cote d’Ivoire at a luxury hotel on the beach in Grand Bassam. For the first four days you will explore the amazingly rich culture of Cote d’Ivoire with your African guide while using a lavish hotel on the beach as your home base. Ghana will be the next part of your West African Adventure with a stop at the Elmina Slave Castle en route to Kumasi where you will be surrounded by the Ashanti influenced culture. Then you will travel south to the capital, Accra, the largest city in Ghana. After Accra you will return to Grand Bassam for the last days of your never to be forgotten African experience. This tour will be modified by Akwaaba to suit your individual interests and expectations.

Day 8: Visit Lake Bosomtwei, Bonwire kente weaving, the Pamkrono and Ahwia sculptures and the Adinkra cloth makers. (B)
Day 9: Travel to Accra and visit the Makola Market in the afternoon. (B)
Day 10: Visit the Ghana National Museum and the Abri Botanical Gardents. (B)
Day 11: Travel to Grand Bassam. (B)
