Ker & Downey is known for its surprisingly good dining, as you will see this evening, at your first "bush" dinner.
Our company features several well-regarded camps in Botswana. Your seven-night stay can be divided among these camps as you choose; however, we ask for a minimum two nights stay at any one camp. Each camp has a different ambiance and eco system, which you will appreciate as you 'safari' from camp to camp by light aircraft. (B), (L), (D).
Day 4 - On Safari. Starting with coffee or tea at your tent in the early morning, you can expect only the best food and service while in camp. Accommodations are serviced in true 5-star fashion. There are comfortable oversized beds, hot showers and flush toilets en suite, in large tents. All this with service to match, makes your safari a superior experience. Guests enjoy three meals daily, prepared by the local chefs. Bottled water is free to all guests, as well as a variety of alcoholic beverages.
Experience the real Africa. Game viewing drives are included and early morning walks are another option. The mokoro, a local canoe, is a relaxing way to view the Delta. You should see plenty of elephant, giraffe and a variety of antelopes, as well as buffalo, lion, leopard and Africa's most endangered species - wild dog. This spectacle is usually followed by ‘Sundowners’ served in the bush in the evening. A fully stocked bar awaits those clients while sitting around camp. Each evening guests can discuss activities they would like for the following day, with the camp manager and guides. (B), (L), (D).
