I agree with all the positive reviews given by other travelers. I arrived in Lima at 11pm, and Eliu himself met me at the airport. He's a very nice guy,
... view more and he loves his job. I was a hesitant about sending my payment via wire transfer, but luckily I had a friend in Peru who met with Eliu personally to make sure the company was legit. Everything was great, and the customer service was top-notch. I highly recommend ECS Travel if you're going to Peru. I'm already thinking of my next trip there, and I'll definitely go back to ECS. |

I highly recommend ECS Travel for arranging trips to Peru. They were incredibly responsive to all our questions and requests. Once in Peru, all arrangements
... view more went smoothly and the hotels were better than we expected. Any glitches (such as bus strikes) were resolved quickly and with no hassle to us. We were a bit hesitant about the trip, but were immediately put at ease when Eliu Campos met us at the airport. He is very professional and knowledgeable and all his arrangements were great. We can't say enough nice things about ECS. |

It was like having your own personal guide/babysitter, tho you were
essentially on your own, you could pick any number of places to visit and
things to do and they would set up an itinerary for you, and just BE THERE at
trains, boats, buses, planes, hotels, meeting you with a car and picking you
up and making sure you got to where you were going, it was just incredible the
way Peruvians take care of their tourists!! It would have been HELL without their guidance and local knowedge, plus the incredible communication between members of their team. So if anything last minute occured, or you wanted to
change your plans, no problem. They had a representative at every port so to
speak, and even got us a ride to our hotel in Arequipa from the local police
during a transit strike!! One
warning...be in shape to do Peru. I wasn't and that was probably the only drawback, it was a "working" vacation, but we saw more than we could possibly have even known existed, just don't overdo at 15,000 ft!And...try to stay at least two days near Machu Picchu, and watch out for Tequile Island in Lake Titicaca! Yikes. Don't bother.

We are very experienced travelers and had one of our best vacations in
Peru.
We met Mr. Eliu Campos at our hotel in Lima, started talking with

about tour options and he asked us exactly what we wanted to see and he
offered some sugggestions. He quickly came up with a full 2 week
itinerary, including hotels, tours, train, plane, and bus travel and
arrangements for someone to meet us for transfers to and from hotels all
along the way.
The price seemed reasonable, but we had never met this guy before.
He
seemed sincere, we took a chance, and it worked out great. We had a tour
customized to our needs and budget, every reservation and transfer was
without problem, and when we had a question along the way, we called Mr.
Campos who was readily available. Upon our return, Mr. Campos set up a
quick 4 day trip to Ecuador which we also thoroughly enjoyed.
We had great service and a great trip and we highly recommend ECS and
Inca-Tours. We
compared prices on line after we got back and found we had a fully custom
tour with a personal representative for a bargain price.
