We specialize in teaching Irish Fiddle to adults who has never played an instrument before and also put together tailor-made one to one tuition holidays for intermediates. Morning fiddle classes are a hoot and afternoon trips around the famous Ring of Kerry are inspirational. Evenings are for sessions and gigs. We are based just outside Kenmare, straddling the Beara and Iveragh Peninsulas. It's a beautiful place.
Gill Newlyn has been teaching the fiddle to adult beginners for the last 15 years and has also put on workshops for her students given by such famous names as Tommy Peoples, Kevin Burke, Paul O'Shaughnessy and Brendan McGlinchy. You won't find a better way to begin your musical journey. If you've always wanted to play, all you have to do is start. |
