My New Mexico Photography Workshops allow me to share my experience and knowledge in both black and white photography and in digital photography with those interested in working in this exciting medium. Black and white film photography is classic and fundamental to understanding fine art photography. Digital imaging,though new, can provide fine art results of a quality equal to that of film. I present this through a range of workshops from basic, or beginning, photography through advanced photography. The black and white photography workshops include work with the camera, film, metering, and darkroom techniques. The digital photography workshops cover all aspects of digital imaging including work with the camera, metering, using Photoshop in the computer, and printing. All workshops utilize lectures, discussions, field trips, and demonstrations whether in the darkroom or on the computer. These photographic workshops are mainly held in photogenic New Mexico, but some are in a variety of travel photography workshops. The focus is to immerse ourselves in photography, learn from each other, and have fun doing it. |
