		Opinion: I have had two different experiences of Pongo the first as a lone female traveller and the second as part of a mixed group. However both were excellent ... view more in their own way. I first visited Pongo in Sept 05 as a fairly new diver of 6months with only dry suit experience. Therefore the prospect of warm water diving in a wetsuit was an exciting but unknown quantity. I also had opportunity to dive with other visiting divers on occasion and in particular two newly qualified divers who had completed the open water course whilst I was with pongo. We were all in agreement that pongo was a fantastic experience. So much so that on my return to the UK I organized a trip for my friends in June 06. Once again I was made to feel very welcome and the diving was tailored to the needs of the group. I saw the less experienced amongst us grow in confidence in the same way I had done. All concerned had an amazing holiday and experienced some of the best dives we have ever had. We haven't stopped talking about it since! What makes Pongo so special is that it does not operate as a large impersonal dive operation but that Borko, Marko and Vuk have all brought something amazing to the center. It feels like being part of a family when you are there and all the guys seem to genuinely love not only the diving but the socializing too. I can honestly say that both of my visits have been the best holidays I have ever had and I have never laughed so much. It would seem that the guys at Pongo have a similar sense of sarcasm to us Brits! The location of the dive center and standard of accommodation is also amazing and this coupled with a plethora of dive sites for all abilities makes Pongo my dive centre of choice!!! If you are obsessed about diving like me then it is definitely the place to go. It is my experience at Pongo that has inspired me to become a dive professional and embark on the first level of dive master.
