Specialist Sea Kayak operator in polar, Mediterranean and tropical areas for twenty years. M10478 offer twenty different trips in eleven countries. 1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

The business has been operating 25 years and began running kayak trips in Australia and Fiji.

2. What is your company's mission?

We aim to offer safe and comfortable sea kayak holidays for any paddlers from beginners to experts.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We specialise in offering mulit-day expedition style camping/kayak trips in tropical and mediterannean destinations and multi-day ship based trips to polar regions (antarctic and arctic), Papua New Guinea and Russian Coasts.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Al Bakker - owner and founder. Al has paddled whitewater and sea kayaks for 39 years in North America, South America, the South Pacific, Japan, Australia, NZ, Antarctica, South Georgia, the High Arctic and Greenland, Russian Far East and all across Europe. He has led commercial sea kayak tours for the last 25 years and developed sea kayak, rafting and cross country ski programs in many countries. Al is a qualified SCUBA diver, Nordic ski instructor and examiner, swim instructor and examiner and holds swiftwater rescue and national lifeguard certification. He has worked as a helicopter ski guide, rafting guide and wilderness first aid consultant and has managed his own kayak tour company for the last two and half decades.

Fiji is our most popular travel package as it tropical, safe and easy to travel to yet offers remote and fascinating cultural kayak tours.
