M11331 is owned by Dan and Maureen McDonald. Together they have seventeen years experience in the Outdoor Industry. Both Dan and Maureen are registered Maine guides. Dan is also a ACA Certified Kayaking instructor.
We purchased the Penobscot branch of Magic Falls Rafting Company from Dave and Donna Naddeau in 2003. We provide the same great whitewater rafting trips on the Penobscot River, but we’ve expanded to offer other great outdoor adventures. We offer whitewater kayaking lessons, paintball, rock climbing, and new family rafting and inflateable kayaking trips on the Saboomick River. We also combine activities packages and lodging so folks can stay for a weekend or a week. We have a great camping, scenic waterfront cabin rentals and an amazing New England style inn.
In August of 2004 we discovered our family would be getting under way. Logan Mary McDonald was born on April 23rd 2005. She's even more of a blessing than I ever imagined. Before I became a parent I thought I could imagine how much parents love their children. I was wrong. Unless your a parent you'll just have to take my word for it.
Logan was born at a hectic time of year for us. During the spring Mo and I typically work somewhere between 80-100 hours a week. During the Spring of 2005 we had to learn to take care of a baby also. 2005 turned into a great season for us. We're already getting started on the 2006 season.
