Kangaroo Island is situated to the south west of Adelaide. The island is an extension of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The island is accessible by passenger and vehicular Ferry from Cape Jervis, or by air from Adelaide. Enjoy the abundant wildlife and wildflowers, many unique to Kangaroo Island.
M11424 is close to Flinders Chase National Park, home to the largest population of koalas on the island. M11424 is in harmony with its natural environment.
The Lodge was built from thick mud brick walls, with earth taken from our nearby dam. Power is supplied by solar panels and a wind turbine. Abundant, pure rain water is available all year round. |
