Planula offers fantastic accommodation set within 2.5 acres of tropical landscaped gardens just outside of Byron Bay. You will love the relaxed atmosphere created in this modern B&B style retreat. We want to offer people a great place to have their holiday or a short break by offering them accommodation in a beautiful house where they can truly relax and get away from the normal rat-race.

Our retreat is equipped with an extensive library. Besides normal reading books and comics in different languages it has a selection of reference materials such as marine-identification books, a wide selection of magazines and DVDs to find out more about what can be seen underwater while snorkeling or diving.

We, your hosts Tim and Wandy, are marine biology enthusiasts trying to create awareness for the marine environment in a fun and relaxing way. We hope that people will more appreciate what they see once they know what they are looking at, because the more you know the more you see!
