Fishing - veterans of the Deschutes will tell you that the river is an incredible year-round fishery. They will also tell you that it is a very technical river to fish, and unless you have Deschutes experience, the fishing will be great. Bird Hunting- there are many preserves in the area that offer fantastic bird hunting. From released birds to wild hunting it can all be found within a 20 minute drive of the Lodge in Maupin. |
