This circa 1940’s home with its three guests rooms, all with private baths, is decorate with family antiques and treasured "finds." The owners strive to provide a loving environment where you feel welcomed and at home. Every effort is made to help make your visit as special as it can possibly be.
Henson Cove Place, a 1940's style farm house is located .4 of a mile off U.S. 76, five minutes east of Hiawassee, Georgia. Located just minutes from Helen GA, Clayton, GA, NC, SC and TN. 15 minutes from Georgia's highest point - Brasstown Bald (4,784 feet). Henson Cove Place is convenient to many great attractions such as the Appalachian and Bartram Trails for hiking. We are a part the Southern Highroads Trail and also right off the Georgia Wine Highway. Water abounds all around Henson Cove, being minutes from Lake Chatuge, whitewater rafting and tubing trips on the Chattahoochee, Nantahala and Ocoee Rivers. Rappelling is also VERY popular in Highlands, NC, less than an hour from Henson Cove.
Owners Mariah & Dave Nugent, want to insure that their B&B guests are treated like family providing the utmost in comfortable lodging, bedding, great food, and a beautiful setting to unwind and refresh their body and soul. Also available is a daily snack along with a beverage and hor'douvres happy hour from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Couples and groups can have a great "getting together" place in the three-bedroom cabin in the woods.
