1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
B&B started in 1996 and it got started when we acquired adjoining land with a small structure at a public auction in 1995. Our lawyer suggested turning the structure into a B&B, which we did.
2. What is your company's mission?
Our mission is the share the quiet, beauty, and solitude that one gets while in the mountains.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Specialize in knowing and identifing the flora and fauna of the mountains.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Husband and wife, Clinton and Carolyn Crump are the co-owners/founders. Clinton, called Curtis is the handyman, woodworker, welder, and mechanic. Carolyn, a retired research virologist, is the cook, housekeeper, and deals with all paper and computer work.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Most popular package is just as a weekend retreat along with fishing in our stocked pond, and using our hiking trails.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
That not only was the cottage extremely clean and the homemade bread and jam a treat, but that the host and hostess treated us like family.
