Here in Belize, we don't get the four seasons - just two. Rainy and not so rainy. We notice that people are already starting to book their winter trips at the Green Parrot.
So if you have been thinking about staying at the Green Parrot this fall, winter or next spring - please book early! We always have to turn guests away for Christmas and New Years. Then January to April gets very busy. So the earlier you plan the better the chance you have to get accommodations. Also, plan your tours early, and we will pre-book them for you. During the high season (December to April) a lot of the tours get filled and we want to make sure that Green Parrot guests have a spot. This is especially true for the fishing trips. We look forward to serving you at our unique vacation facility. Romantic Weddings at the Green Parrot – Let us assist you in all your wedding planning. If a beach wedding is what you have always wanted - you will not find a better beach in Belize for holding the wedding than on the Green Parrot beach. This too needs prior planning. Getting married in Belize takes a little extra time and we can help you so that things go smoothly.
Located in southern Belize on the Placencia peninsula. Idea location from which to visit both water (snorkel, fishing, diving) and land based sites (Mayan ruins, Jaguar Preserve) in Belize. Great spot to just kickback and relax or keep on the go. This is a family owned resort - not one of those large chains that you can find anywhere around the word. We specialize in serving and getting to know our customers and many come back to visit again and again.
Good news for 2009! They are paving the road on the Placencia peninsula --which means it will be easier to drive from Belize City. Also it will cause less wear and tear on the cars and drivers and guests. This work is complete behind the Green Parrot resort - so you will not have any construction noise - like some of the resorts to the north of us. Progress!?
