1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
Your hosts, Butch and Kathy King and lifetime Alaskans, born in Anchorage and Fairbanks, before Statehood. Butch is an Alaska Master Guide and Commercial Bush who has guided sportsmen on the Alaska Peninsula since 1971.
2. What is your company's mission?
What Butch and Kathy enjoy most is showing visitors the wonders of the remote Alaska Peninsula, Alaska's Last wilderness frontier, where Brown Bear are KING, Salmon and Trout are abundant and unique Alaska wildlife like Walrus, eagles and wolves flourish in amazing numbers.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Our lodge specializes in fully inclusive wilderness fly fishing vacations for the most discerning anglers, small corporate groups and active outdoor families. Late summer wildlife tours feature up close and personal Alaska brown bear and Pacific walrus viewing.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
The lodge is owned and operated by life time Alaskans, Butch and Kathy King. Butch came to the Alaska Peninsula as a young pilot and guide in 1971, he and Kathy have brought comfortable facilities and friendly services to this
remote wilderness.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
The lodge excels in all inclusive wilderness fishing packages for salmon, trout and char because of our very remote fly in location on Alaska's ONLY gin clear artesian sport fishing river and our highly experienced professional staff.
